Undoubtedly the main gatekeeper and ruling hound of the gardens is Clyde, or at least he likes to think so. Clyde is a beautiful Golden Retriever whose sense of compassion, love, and unforgiving relentlessness will keep you in your place. If you intend to stop petting Clyde, you'd better have an escape plan. |
Brodie, caught here during an afternoon nap in a patch of elephant ears, is one of the most beautiful dogs in the bunch. She is a Gordon Setter of Scottish ancestry, and she struts her heritage with a proud and airy gait. Brodie's moans almost sound as if she is trying to speak to you. She and Sadie used to jump the fence and cruise the neighborhood together. |

Sadie, my lady. Sadie has to be the most sweet and caring dog around! She is a black Labrador with a wonderful sense of love and loyalty. She is playful, loves to fetch and retrieve sticks, and has a peculiar sense of showing affection by swinging her tailend into your knees. |

Beauregard Lexington (Beau) is new to the bunch this year. He is a very shy Doberman Pincher that is slowly but surely coming out of his shell. Since he is the only other male, he and Clyde have had several challenges over territory dominance. For the moment, Beau shows respect for Clyde's ruling paw, and has befriended Sadie as a playmate. Sadie and Clyde use to be an item, so I think she is using Beau to get back at him. ;-) |
